HOW MANY TILES DO YOU REPLACE DUE TO THESE PROBLEMS?

v  Plumbing water leaks,  roof leaks, A/C condensation, etc…all of which cause mold, mildew, and more problems

v  Bowing, sagging, or warping due to high humidity

v  Damage or stains

v  Discoloring or peeling

How many tiles would you really need if you honestly got rid of all that needed to be replaced? How many do you keep that may be making your employees and customers sick?

Have you considered that whatever is in your tiles is being circulated in your business since your air returns are right there in your tiles?

A ceiling tile costs at least 50 cents a sq ft. When you figure in paying someone to replace them or the time and manpower of your own staff replacing them, the cost is at least $1 a sq ft.

Now add to that the cost of cleaning them at least twice a year. At the cheapest it will cost 30 cents a sq ft each time; so now you have invested at least $1.60 a sq ft in the first year.

Then the second year, with cleaning and replacing damaged tiles, you are at least up to $2.30 a sq ft and the third year you are at $3.00+ a sq ft.

If you do not clean them bacteria, mold, mildew, viruses, & fungi can grow in them. Then you have a prime environment for Sick Building Syndrome (SBS), which is becoming more and more prevalent. It is the reason for employee & customer illnesses and allergies being on the rise and increasing loss of man-hours and/or customers. This cost can not be calculated in square feet. Customer loss can be permanent and employee illness and allergies can be costly in more than just man-hour loss, but insurance increases due to doctor visits, hospital stays, etc.

Now imagine how much time and money you would save if you did not have to replace ceiling tiles. What would it save you in man-hours lost due to SBS or allergies and how many customers would you keep if your air quality were improved?
